+ What are the technology requirements to participate?

Users will need a computer with internet access. Although any web browser will work, we recommend using Google Chrome.

+ What is the general format and length of these classes? How long will it take to complete?

There is no specific class duration; students are at liberty of using the programs at their own pace.

+ Are these effective programs?

Yes! Our team invests lots of time and research into ensuring our tutoring systems are as effective and helpful as possible. A large amount of research indicates that intelligent tutoring systems are effective tools for learning.

+ Will this be more beneficial than classroom education?

This program is not intended as a substitute for in-class learning; it is intended as a supplement to allow students the opportunity to practice in the areas of reading and writing that they struggle with.

+ Are there any student support services available for the programs?

+ Will these programs help students at all grade levels?

Our systems are designed for high school students; however, younger and older students have found them to be useful.

+ Are there any hidden costs?

Nope! We are able to offer our systems completely free of charge thanks to a grant from the U.S. Department of Education. All we ask is that we can use your anonymized data to help us better understand how students learn using our system, and how we can continue to make it more useful.
