Our Story

     AdaptiveLiteracy is developed by the Science of Learning and Educational Technology (SoLET) Lab at Arizona State University. Both educational tools, iSTART and Writing Pal, were designed through extensive research exploring optimal ways to provide technology-based literacy learning supplements to adolescent and adult learners.

     AdaptiveLiteracy has been built on the research of reading comprehension, coherence of textual material, writing strategy use, adaptive functionalities, natural language processing, second language learning as well as other topics that benefit the development and improvement of these systems.
